MDO Group supported Bosman, a supplier of medical equipment, with the relocation of their warehouse in Eindhoven to a new location. Thanks to careful planning, a flexible approach and the right expertise in dismantling and assembling shelving systems, Bosman remained fully operational throughout the entire move, without customers noticing any disruption.

For Bosman, a supplier of medical equipment, the relocation of its warehouse in Eindhoven to a new location was planned. The challenge was to carry out this move within a tight schedule, without affecting daily operations.

This involved several important points to consider. Jordy Vulders, Supply Chain Manager at Bosman: “We need to operate from Monday to Friday, without exception. This meant we could start moving a large part of the bulk stock during the week, but the full pick stock could only be moved on Saturday.”

In addition, shelving systems had to be assembled in the new warehouse, while part of them could only be dismantled in the old warehouse at that same moment.

To make this possible, Bosman called on MDO Group. “For the complete relocation, we needed a company with the right manpower and expertise, particularly in assembling and dismantling shelving systems. That is how we came to MDO Group.”

During the move, Bosman remained fully operational. “Our customers did not notice anything about the relocation. And the new warehouse fully meets our expectations.”
